Fit and Fine at 29

I’m turning 29 on the 17th (clutches pearls), and I wanted to tie my fit mission into the celebration. The only way I could think to do that was through a fitness class. So, I brought together 12 of my favorite women for some high-flying fun.

I chose Future Fitness in Cherry Hill to host the class. They were one of the only fitness studios outside of Center City Philadelphia that offered aerial yoga. I also needed ample parking for my traveling guests, showers, and a supportive staff that was energetic and helpful in my planning.

Supportive was definitely an understatement. My group of 12 benefitted from a knowledgable instructor, and someone on the ground helping to motivate us and navigate our dancers and pigeons and shoulder stands.

Our instructor Gloria cheered on Sharon as she got up into a straddle

Thanks G. Michael Worthington for capturing the laughs, inversions, and girl power.

Hey Sharae

Doesn’t Melissa look like a little girl at play?

We worked up an appetite after yoga, so we headed to a great farm-to-table restaurant next door, The Farm and Fisherman Tavern and Market. I’m so grateful that my friends and family traveled from far and wide to come help me celebrate.
