This week, I brought some friends along for Self-Care Saturday.
I awoke at 7:30 and started with a cup of jasmine tea before my 9am pilates class. This was the perfect way to start my day, and it left me energized and focused.
Later, I photographed a first birthday party for a friend, and I was reminded how much fun children can be. They are not concerned about looking silly or cake on their faces, just the adventure that awaits them. (put down my glass of green juice) How can I harness that?
I then finished my day off the right way, with a date night with my better half. A handsome gentleman and miso ramen were definitely the icing on the cake for my self-care Saturday.
